"This is a gem in the heart of Ollantaytambo! I came here after having experience a not-so-well checkin experience elsewhere, but Meda at the reception was so kind and accomodating. The checkin was smooth, the room is decent for a one-night stay (as I did) and the common areas are so beautiful! Besides the great mountain views, I was more impressed by their service during my checkout. I had to leave way early to catch the train leading to Machu Picchu, which would have meant that i had to skip...

"It’s a best place to stay in Ollantaytambo with the ruins viewable from the roof top and our room window. It’s not steep as we thought walking up from main plaza. We enjoyed walking around, to the ruins / restaurants. Felt very safe among the locals. The owner and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. They organized the transportation to pick us up from Cusco airport and toured the Sacred Valley. They provided free luggage storage when we went to visit Machu Picchu. It’s about 15 minutes...

"Upon arriving to the airport our host set up transportation for us. Our driver had a sign like in the movies which was really fun. When arriving to the site check in was super easy its like they were waiting for just us. The room is huge and super cozy. You can walk just about everywhere. There is a taxy ring right down the road. Our host has been very hospitiable and speaks aswesome english. His wife was very welcoming as well. 10/10 would recommend!"

"Location is very convenient to train & bus stations, resto, stores. Bus to Machu Picchu is a few steps away from the hotel. Hotel has a view of the river, the shopping stores, and the road where we see the long line to MP bus from our room. The room is spacious and very clean. It has very good breakfast too. "We greatly appreciated the assistance Mary provided in helping us get settled and find a good restaurant. This is an older property but the bathrooms have had a simple update. There are lots of small staircases to climb. The double bed was against the wall on one side making it difficult for one person to get in out of bed. The biggest concern was there was no hot water in the shower. Because we had an early train to catch, there was not time for us to notify the hostel or change rooms."
