"We chose The Islander for our group to stay at for a family wedding in the area for its affordability and proximity to the beach. We were blown away by the hospitality and helpfullness of the staff. There were 15 uof us (adults and children) and we loved most was that all we had to do was step out our doors to see and visit with family members as we were all on main level rooms in the courtward, which is also where the morning coffee and muffins were served. We were also pleasantly surprised by the variety of local restaurants and shops in the surrounding blocks, community park across the street, and local market/grocery store right next door. The office has beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas to borrow for the day, bikes to use, and a large ice machine to fill your cooler. The wedding dictated our location, but we're not opposed to meeting up in Vero Beach again, and this is where we'll stay!"
