"A small hotel in a sketchy part of town. Rooms are modern and attractive but a very poor design. Toilet/bath and bed are all in one room, separated by a clear glass wall. The only way to get privacy is to close THREE blinds, and from the outside (bed side), leaving no way to enter the bathroom. Electrical issues--one light was not working and the bathroom light could not be turned OFF. Night clerk said shutting the blinds would cut the light. Also pretty noisy. "Average experience, this is clearly a newly open residence and only one floor is in service while the owner is still renovating the second floor. Maybe a lot for one person to handle , but professionalism could improve, cleanliness was ok but not perfect and while some things are newly renovated, this is an older building. Owner is helpful though and this may all improve in time . For now it’s a bit expensive for what it is, but there is limited options on Aka island anyways. "

"Yuumi and her team were so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Aka! They picked us up from the port even though it was a short way which was so helpful with our luggage.
