"What a lovely place to get away. The building had quaint charm and my room was cozy and welcoming. All I needed for a fire was ready to go, bed and bedding was luxurious and comfortable, coffee for the morning with REAL creamer in the fridge. "We have stayed here on many occasions and were less impressed this time than we have been in the past. The facilities are getting outdated and run down. Management needs to attend to updating the rooms quickly. There was one electric plug and it was so loose we couldn't make the cord stay plugged in. And, although the basic cleaning had ben nicely done, this room needed a VERY COMPLETE deep cleaning. The staff all get 5-star rating as they were helpful, generous and kind. This should be a five-star facility and management needs to focus resources on updating right away!"
