"Quaint place, recently renovated. It was quiet place in the heart of the city. The only issue we had was the poor internet connectivity, I mean not even able to send text messages, the signal got weaker the further we were from the router. I had it looked at but nothing could be done. I had a PT SIM card and data so it was okay for me. Great place to stay other than this issue. "

"Very pleased with the room ,nice and clean , towels and kettle provided . Location very good , 5 mins from Sao Bento train station with plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast ,very quiet too considering location . Check in made very easy and reception contacted us to confirm when we would be arriving . Could be awkward to find the rooms but on checking in we were shown photos and they added it to our google maps on phones which took us straight there . Very good value ,would saty again and happy...

"The receptionist Beatriz was awesome, the place is well situated for everything. Some sketchy characters were hanging around outside the place sometimes. It’s in full public view so no problem. Early check in is a bit difficult but you can leave luggage at the office 15 min walk away or wait until 4 and use a locker at the train station which is 1 min walk"

"The property definitely has mold problem. You can smell it when you step in it. The room does not have an AC system. The carpet does not seem clean, so are the bed and the bed comforter. The bathroom shower door cannot be closed tightly. After you take a shower, the whole bathroom turns into a swamp. You must have a pair of slipper for it. The shower pan is very small. The toilet bowl is small. The whole stay experience was quite bad. The review score I remember shows 8.6. I have no idea why it...
