"A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. "I booked this property for the benefit of airport shuttle as per information provided on the search. I contacted them through expedia messages and didnt get a reply. I then called them when I reached India which was option 2. Firstly, the number they provided was not the number to call. The person then gave me 2 different numbers. "The front desk staff was good, the breakfast was excellent and tasty. Two issued I had was there was another group that was playing loud music near us and it was bothering us as we were trying to put the kids to sleep. We also had a issues where the staff was suppose to deliver a case of water we brought and they delivered it to the wrong room. They replaced it with a case but just two small issues. Overall good experience and would stay again if going through the area. "

"Really nice place. Friendly staff! Kumily is great for exploring Periyar. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the entry point into Periyar national park. Clean and spacious room. No hot water in the shower head. However, there was a tap with hot water in knee-height and a plastic bucket. So it was possible to get a hot shower using that. "
