"the rooms were not clean . it had a smell and some dirty panties on the floor and they did not change our room to make our stay better . we checked out early and found a better cleaner room. i will never stay at a doubletree again "

"It's well located downtown. Everything was clean and fine. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was OK. The warming cabinet left the egg patties cold though. Otherwise, coffee was good and good selection. My kid was very happy with the waffle maker. Good stay at a smaller quiet property. I will stay again."

"This hotel was deceiving. Affiliated with Marriott i am very disappointed. The person running the valet made us park our own car and did not assist us with our luggage. The hotel is run down and under construction. The bed was horribly uncomfortable the bed linens were low quality. Extremely disappointed. "

The security features like the entrances, elevators, and common area doors were supposed to require the room key to be unlocked, but they were completely unlocked and easily accessible for anyone from the outside. Every floor had an ice machine, but no water available for the guests. The pool was outdated and dirty with construction debris. It looks like the hotel was in a great condition in the past, but the general condition has been deteriorating overtime."

In fact, not wishing to be rushed to move into My newest home, I decided to stay an additional 4 Nights. From Tosha, The Manager, to Alisia & Ozonne at the Front Desk, Misty & Yoselin in Housekeeping and Saschu in Maintenance, The Customer Service is Truly 2nd to None. If I had been as respected and admired by my many employees over the years as Tosha is by those she directly supervises, I would be a very satisfied person! If you are planning on an extended visit to enjoy the area Beaches, the St. Johns River, St. Augustine &/or Our Hometown Jacksonville Jaguars, You really should do yourself a favor and consider This Property.
