The hotel is a fantastic example of older Danish hotel architecture (no irony) and is located right next to the Aabenraa fjord

It was comfortable size room with 2 beds far enough apart to prevent disturbing eachothers much needed sleep with snoring and such. Nice quiet on the garden side, (not on the beach side: Busy road + harbour noises from far it seemed. The breakfast was nice with super sweet staff lady. Great shower, very good water pressure. Plenty of storage space in cupboards. This hotel could do with a good renovation. The electric wiring and sockets look very outdated and even could be a dangerous fire hazard! The busy noisy street in front of the beach should be closed of for regular traffic. ( at least a ‘dam’ in the middle of the boulevard and 2 dead end streets on each side so businesses / residents can reach destinations). With maximum priority to pedestrians and bicycles. Nice stalls / market / beautiful park & flowers & art sculptures along the beach instead of cars please? Thank you.

A bit more/earlier information would have been nice. I liked the coffee and tea service. The carpet in the room is dirty and should be replaced with hard service (is also easy to clean). The parking in front of the hotel must be for disabled people only. Now it was too busy!

Good budget hotel. Ensuite bathroom had a ‘shower in the bath’ which I personally do not like, I prefer a room with a shower cubicle and no bath. Great breakfast available (additional charge). Easy walk to great restaurant. Beach opposite - blue flag. Plans to rejuvenate look great. Would definitely book again.

OK if all you need is a bed

The room was okay to sleep in, but very worn and ripped of anything cosy or nice. The hotel was old, worn, not kept well. Kind of spooky. Nice view.

Okay Overall – But No Sea View as Promised

All in all, a decent hotel for the price. Check-in worked smoothly, and it was easy to access the room. Communication from the hotel before my stay was good, and everything practical went as expected. However, it’s worth noting that there was no staff present at the hotel, which made the experience feel a bit impersonal. It worked fine because everything was automated, but it’s something to be aware of if you prefer direct contact. My biggest disappointment was that I had booked a room with a sea view, but I didn’t get a sea view at all. That was really upsetting, as it was one of the main reasons I chose the hotel. Otherwise, a reasonable place for the price, but I had hoped for a more personal experience – and to receive what I had actually booked.

De kamer heeft een eigen ingang, ik kon mijn motorfiets pal voor de deur parkeren. De kamer biedt geen privacy en ramen en tuindeur zijn wanneer ze open staan voor iedereen vrij toegankelijk. Ventileren wanneer even weg bent kan niet.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und hat einen ziemlichen Renovierungsstau. Im Bad lief die Wanne nicht ab und setzte alles unter Wasser. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach, aber die Betten waren in Ordnung und für eine Nacht Zwischenübernachtung war es ok.

De ligging is geweldig, voor de rest voldoet het maar het is duidelijk oud en de voegen op de badkamer waren wel erg verkleurd. De matras was niet stevig maar wij verbleven er 1 nacht dus dat was te overzien. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar voldeed, het mooie uitzicht in de ontbijtzaal is geweldig.

Lidt skuffet

Et meget nedslidt hotel. Værelset havde en virkelig dejlig udsigt - dejligt vi kunne komme ud på en terrasse, men bordet var så rusten, at jeg rev mig på det. Badeværelset var i meget ringe stand - meget gult i bunden af toiletkummen - måtte bede rengøringshjælp der var på gangen, om et et håndklæde til at tørre hænder af i. Der fik jeg at vide at der normalt kun var 1 håndklæder pr. person. Jeg ved man skal tænke på miljøet, men det er altså formet. Morgenmåltider var ok, der hvad der skulle være.
