"It’s in a great location close to May restaurants, family gatherings, and nightlife. The property is beautiful and clean. The staff is one of the best if not the best knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating individuals. The staff is what makes this hotel the best in Merida."

"Location was good, condition of the hotel was well maintained, there was convenient on-site free parking and the staff were attentive. The downside was the power cuts that we experienced in the two afternoons when we were in the hotel. Both were due to heavy rain affecting the electricity provider's old infrastructure. The first afternoon was only for a few minutes, but the second afternoon was for three hours. We did speak to management about potentially cancelling our stay, but fortunately the electricity came back on before we had to move. The Holiday Inn was not the only hotel affected, but it did affect our stay."
