"This place was a wonderful surprise! We needed last minute lodging and this place popped up. It's an older property, but comfortable, clean, quiet, and modern inside. "Fab modern room overlooking the river towards the city. The hotel has lovely sauna/ steam room facilities on the top floor by beware these are only open from 5 pm and not available if you want to use them in the morning. We chose not to eat in the hotel restaurant but at one of the many busy restaurants available locally. The lovely City of Bremen was a short walk along the river from the hotel, well worth doing. Secure Parking was available next the hotel at a very reasonable rate."

"Breakfast was ok. The room had old furniture that had chiped paint and look like it was decorated with old 2nd hand furniture from Ikea and was really small. The shower was tiny. It was a step up from a hostel, and a very expensive step up. The bar had the atmosphere of a hospital operating theater, though the prices were ok. I suppose if one is drunk enough, you don't notice it too much. "
