"Das Hotel war in Ordnung, die Lage top, ganz nah am Stand. Das Zimmer war klein, aber ok, leider extrem hellhörig, so dass man in der Nacht oft geweckt wurde. Das Frühstück war an sich ausreichend (ich als Veganerin hatte eine Sorte Brot, Margarine, Tomate und Gurke, Marmelade und Sojajoghurt), aber das Obst war zum Teil nicht mehr gut (Trauben waren verschimmelt, Obstsalat hat sehr alt und angegammelt geschmeckt) und meine Schwester meinte, auch Käse und Wurst haben verdorben geschmeckt. "This was a repeat stay and Amrath is ideally situated in Alkmaar, easy walk to station and town centre. The disability room we had was spacious and provided all the support needed. Good breakfast each day. Really helpful staff."

"The hotel is tucked away in Bergen, which is a very beautiful little high-end village near Alkmaar, The Netherlands. We stayed only for one night -- 17 hours to be precise -- as part of a larger group gathering. The group dinner was held at the hotel, and it was outstanding and highly recommended. Staff are nice. We had booked a room for two persons. Our room clean and with two windows overlooking a beautiful courtyard, but it was rather small -- about two feet on one side of a queen-size bed and a three-feet-band passage on the other sides -- with rather minimalistic furnishings and space. We had no room and place to put our luggage or unpack the immediate necessities. If we stay there again, we will definitely urge for a larger room. "

"Et rigtig dejligt hotel i highend klassen med god luksus for pengene. Morgenmaden var rigtig god, med live cooking og et godt udvalg af div. Der manglede dog sukkerfri produkter til folk med diabetes, men der var et mindre udvalg glutenfri produkter. Der ud over kan nævnes at der er ca 35. Min. Gang til den gamle bydel og havnen i Hoorn, hvor der findes mange hyggelige værtshuse med rigtig god stemning og mulighde for en øl og en en bid mad Alt i alt et dejligt ophold kan varmt anbefales."
