Very friendly staff at the hotel , comfortable room and bed . Quiet in the room away from the function area which was in another building . Good breakfast .

Beautifull hotel with friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Apart from mould around the tap area in bath everything was perfect.

Told that I didn’t have a “proper name” during check in, left empty used milk jug in the room - weird beeping throughout the night that the staff couldn’t figure out. Lovely room - just the small things you’d expect to be right weren’t.

Lovely well maintained hotel, friendly staff. As the hotel covers five buildings access to room means climbing up and downstairs. If your are impeded by walking climbing stairs I suggest you request an easy access room

The room was lovely, however I didn’t find the bed comfy. Mattress felt uneven, maybe an old spring mattress. Breakfast was great. Lots of options plus the chef will cook you fresh eggs. Staff were helpful and friendly.

While the property itself is likely quite nice - especially in summer the location is not ideal for tourists who want to explore on foot. Walk to downtown for dinner was a good 25-30mins. Thankfully we had a car and could leave the city and park for free. Building has a very strange layout with lots of corridors and stairs. Not convenient when carrying heavy bags. Room was nice.

Good location with parking, roomy bedroom, helpful staff, evening meal was very good, unusual decor with interesting artwork. Difficulty getting around due to numerous stairs and striped carpet tricky for elderly guests with poor eyesight. Would have liked a hot breakfast cooked to order. Not a fan of wet rooms as bathroom floor gets soaked.

Lovely place to stay
Lovely place, friendly helpful staff, room was great, had everything you needed and was very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was also great. Only downside if you could call it that, was the carpet was stripped and quite hard on the eyes when going up or down the stairs (and there were a few of those and no lifts) but that was a very small minor thing. Really enjoyed the stay there.

Very smart hotel. Four elegant, stylish houses chained together by interlocking doors. It works well, but good do with better signs. Suggest you leave luggage in the car until you know your room location. Excellent restaurant in the centre of complex.

Excellent property. Loved the room and the breakfast. One day we were early to breakfast and the chef in charge of getting breakfast ready welcomed us and prepare our eggs even thought he was preparing the breakfast buffet.

Exceptional. I travel a lot and this was my best hotel experience this year - staff, service, facilities, food, accommodation all beyond expectation. In addition ample free parking for guests. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
