Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor

8/10 Good
"Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Room was to a good standard, with decent facilities (tea/coffee, desk etc, usual things). Not so pleased to have to pay for parking, but I understand that it is near some sort of conference centre, so I imagine it is due to that. Had to book a slot for the swimming pool in the morning, but when I got there I was the only one in there so that felt a bit pointless; also, when I got there, there was no one at the desk in the health centre to check me in, so I had to find a towel myself and make my own way in."

"Very nice clean hotel . We had a fabulous view from the 24th floor. Menu looked disappointing for the type of food on offer and there is a modern food court within ten mins walk with more choice and better prices. Donโ€™t stay out late though as hotel bar shuts early. The area immediately outside the hotel is not great and the nearest pubs are decidedly sketchy. Caerleon is a ten minute ยฃ10 cab ride away for some lovely pubs restaurants and museums."
