"Property is getting a bit old, in need of renovation. Bed was soft, and we could feel every time the other one moved. Bathroom sink is absurdly designed - you can barely fit your hands under the tap, due to the placement of basin and tap. Bathroom sliding door was rickety and came off its track repeatedly. Overhead lighting was harsh and institutional. Kitchen wasn't very well equipped, eg no knife for chopping. Staff were lovely, and the location is superb. But it's all a bit tired."

"The bar needs some attention. We sat down at a table of our choice that had the previous customerโ€™s empty glasses as did a few other tables. I ordered a cocktail but was told by the barman I couldnโ€™t have that but wasnโ€™t told why or given another suggestion as a replacement. It all seemed a little chaotic. Also breakfast was similar with many tables littered with empty plates, napkins and food and seemingly no staff able to clean up while doing other tasks. Other staff would clean one table and leave another dirty and not a pleasant environment to eat and start the day. I wouldnโ€™t have breakfast there again it was all a bit of a mess."
