"Lovely new modern room "

"The staff were friendly and helpful. Almost lost my phone and they tried to help me find it. Room was clean and modern. Unfortunately not soundproof enough. Good amenities. There’s a golf course beside it which was a bonus for us. Great view of the sunset and sunrise. Close to the airport. "

"This was our favorite hotel we stayed at in Portugal--the staff were friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The lobby was spacious and gorgeously designed. The food from the restaurant was good, and we loved the happy hour! Our room was also well-proportioned, and we loved the amenities provided, including the shower cap and dental kits. Our only quibble--and this was our fault for not properly researching the location--was that it was quite far from the central part of the city. The area was mostly residential (though we loved the restaurant Geographie around the corner), and it was a solid 40-minute walk to the central commercial area."

"Such a beautiful and historic place! It’s not just an overnight stay, it’s a full on experience not to be missed. The rooms were more modern and built around the stunning palace at the centre, but everything was comfortable and clean. The food was also amazing, we had a 6 course set menu with wine and it was well worth the price. The restaurant was rather busy and we had to wait an extremely long time to be seated, over but the Gifinal experience was fabulous "
