"The hotel is very beautiful and in a very convenient location. I upgraded to a studio king, and to be honest I did not like it. The part view room was so much better. The studio king room had one window that pointed to some dark alley. I paid more for it, but in my opinion, it was a downgrade."

"Staff was very friendly. Room didn't seem like it was 100% put together prior to us checking in. There were no trash bags in the bins and no toiletries in the bathroom. We were only staying for one night so we didn't mind much."

"Eric at the front desk was great. Very helpful I traveled with a group of 9 and he made sure all of our rooms were on the same floor. One thing I would say the pull out sofa bed isnt the best so you might want to just share the bed if possible. Breakfast was great. Staff helpful and friendly. Great are stores and good restaurants all in walking distance. Already booked my stay for next year."

"Motto is known for very small rooms, but it was fine for 2 of us. We spent little time there. We did not have a mini fridge, which is something we could have used. Otherwise, it is walking distance to so many things. We would stay there again."

"The hotel was lovely overall..it was in a great location for getting anywhere you needed in Washington DC with great nearby transport links by bus and metro. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were in a good condition (although they did appear a little dated) but had all the amenities you could need. Would definitely stay here again if I visit Washington DC again."
