We had a lovely stay at Occidental Roca Negra. The hotel is peaceful with beautiful, quiet surroundings—perfect for relaxing. The spa and pool area were highlights, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The only minor downside is that there isn’t much nearby in terms of shops or markets, but if you’re looking for a place to unwind and disconnect, this hotel is ideal.

The most I like breakfast and dinner buffet, spa and views ftt try on the roof and balcony. I would like the water in the pool or jacuzzi were warmer or heated. Was a little chilly in May.

Good hotel

Good hotel with big spacious room and bathroom. Lovely power shower. Pool was nice and not too crowded. Food was average and restaurant could be busy (especially for February) but absolutely fine. Nice sea views, quiet place, near to rock pools.

Nice hotel

Nice, clean hotel with great breakfast and nice pool. Comfortable bed. Not in best state with broken and hard to open door handle and heavy, hard to open balcony door.

Great view over the Atlantic Ocean towards Teneriffa. Sea pools within walking distance, restaurants a bit farther away but a nice walk along the oceanside.

It is a beautiful area and a nice hotel. Very limited options for meals around and the hotel does not have the most varied offerings. The room is spacious and clean. pool bar is under renovation. Breakfast was great in the buffet, dinner depends on the night on the buffet, options are limited in the rooftop area. Room serviced is advertised throughout the property but does not exist.

Great views.

Very good hotel with excellent views over the cliff and beaches. The hotel is somewhat remote from the town and a steep climb back up. Food was ok but not the best I've had in a 4 star hotel. Vegetarian choices were available but not great for main courses. The terrace bar on the rooftop was great for drinks and watching the sunset but was taken over by a film crew for 3 days which was disappointing. Didn't try the spa. I would go again.

Great hotel and good breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from our room was absolutely stunning – we could see the ocean and the nearby cliffs, which made every morning feel special. The location is excellent, right in next to the town, and the ferry terminal is just next door, making it very easy to take a trip to Tenerife. The service throughout our stay was friendly and professional. My wife and I also booked a massage at the spa. I really enjoyed mine – it was relaxing and well done – but my wife was hoping for a deeper, more sports-style massage, so it didn’t quite meet her expectations. The spa area itself was very nice and peaceful. The outdoor swimming pool was a bit colder than we expected; I’m not sure if it was advertised as heated. For me it was refreshing Overall, we had a great experiene and I can definitely recommend this hotel

Enjoyable stay

Amazing hotel with delicious food and service. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything was of high quality. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the best place. The only drawback for me was that the gym could have opened a bit earlier (opened at 10) everything else was perfect!

Great relaxing spot

Overall excellent hotel. Extremely scenic spot and very peaceful I slept with the sound of waves. Not walkable to many shops but great for a relaxing break. They only give you water and amenities the first day. Few British tourists most German and peaceful.

The hotel was beautiful but because the property was a bit far from restaurants etc., I felt they took advantage of their customers by charging outrageous prices for beverages and while there was plenty of food, the quality was never better than average. It was very much like being on a cruise ship quite honestly. Great views though.
