"The studio was nice and just 2 minutes walking to the beach and restaurants area. Joanna was very kind and willing to help, we stayed two nights and the room was cleaned every day. Unfortunately there are too many mosquitos, so they should provide some mosquitos repellent plug in. (We bought the spray but it did nothing) Secondly the wi-fi didn’t work for the two days, but this was not the owner’s fault as she tried to reset the modem but it was broken."

"Very beautiful views atop a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean. The road up is a challenge, for sure. Probably unlike anything else you have driven, but very doable with a little patience. The size of the place it a little tight for a family of 4, but you can make it work. The pool and patio are lovely and the hosts are very kind. "

"Amazing place we will definitely come back to Crete and stay here! While we were here had all we needed, home made breakfast daily, delicious food for lunch or dinner. On site convenient store and laundry. Great pool, view and drinks - we used them all. The location has a gorgeous view, relaxing vibe and easy access to tourist sites on the island. "We had a lovely stay. It was end of season and the resort was only half full, they were also closing a day early so had arranged our transfer to another hotel at no cost to ourselves. In addition because of this we were upgraded. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. This was really useful when arranging days out (make sure you have cash!). The resort was quiet and only one Ala carte restaurant was still open (it was good). I really liked the private beach and the bar was great,...

"Wish I could have rated my stay at the Diouskouri. Our reservation was made over two days in advance of our attempted check in. After many phone calls to the manager who was somewhere in Iraklion while we were in the hotel lobby, we were told to check in at the hotel down the road. The substitute hotel lacked hot water, a decent internet connection and one of the main ceiling lights didn't work. The substitute hotel was not a three star but we paid three star rates. Not a repeat."
