"La Finca Azul is a really nice place to stay. We only stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It's surrounded by beautiful nature, with a river nearby. The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

"The place is clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. The view from the window is scenic. The host is very welcoming and we were treated with fresh coconut drink. She is also very friendly and helpful. I left my power adaptor in the room and she got it arranged straightaway for me to pick up."

"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"

"The apartment itself is very nice. The noise level was unbearable. The traffic noise all night was very bad. We got no sleep. Thr shower in the apartment os poor. Hot water yes but the shower is bad. The owners hut us with a 5 doller a hour sur charges to get into the apartment a little early. "

"Our stay here was amazing. First time in Costa Rica and this place made it memorable. From the staff to the food to the rooms to the pools to simply everything.
Breakfast was incredible and it varied daily. The views in the main restaurant dining area were amazing. It felt like you were dining in the jungle as everything was open air. We were able to see some wildlife while dining including some interesting birds and an iguana.
The lunch is also amazing no matter what you get. We had the octopus, ribeye, 24-hour pork, and a pizza and all were great. I'd skip the dessert.
The pools are really the highlight of the resort. It can get busy from time to time but if you aim to go when it's a little offpeak (e.g., when it's raining, night time, in b/w breakfast and lunch) then you'll fare better. The pools aren't too hot but that is kind of a good thing when you'd prefer to sit in them for longer to enjoy the lush, green, jungle surroundings. Everything was clean and well-kept. There is a hot pool by the main pool if you want something hotter.
We missed out trying the spa but will aim to do that next time. Seemed nice when we visited.
The property is expansive and it can be a little bit of a walk to get from the front to your room (depending on which one) but our room was perfectly situated by the pool/restaurant and wasn't too far. We were in a Jr Suite. The Chato Suites and Villas are the furthest away from the main entrance."
"My favorite place in Costa Rica - maybe anywhere! So quiet and peaceful! You truly feel like you are in the jungle. Upgrade to the spa on deck of your room - amazing to sit and drink coffee or a cocktail in the jungle in warm water. The staff was amazing. The restaurant reasonably priced (it's not everywhere) and delicious. It's on a dirt road, but easily drivable. They will help you plan excursions! My husband, myself and my teenage boys all loved it! Our room had a huge loft the boys stayed in, our room was entry level with indoor outdoor sliding doors, a table, kitchen (though I don't know why you'd cook), fridge, spa - luxury in the jungle most definitely! And super safe!!!!! WE WILL BE BACK!"
"Perfect hotel! You are immersed in the jungle and the scenery is amazing. Hotel was spotless, staff was friendly and helpful, food was good, great location. This was the perfect hotel for our trip to La Fortuna, I would definitely recommend it and stay here again. Each room has it's own personal hot tub on the balcony and you're surrounded by trees and flowers which makes it very private. There are stores and a couple of restaurants within walking distance as well. "
"I like to stay here for a few nights on arrival in Costa Rica to get aclimatised. The property is quite large with lots of birds to photograph. Staff are all very helpful, food was great so it's hard to beat."
