This property is older. It is not Wyndham quality. It smells very musty. It did not seem clean to COVID standards. The hallways are dingy. The furniture was old. The chair in our room was stained and looked terrible.
Overall the stay was great. Beds comfortable, room clean, the front dest lasy when we checked in had no personality, but the night shift lady at desk was amazing...
Me and my mom made a getaway hiking weekend trip up to the Cuyahoga area. This place was great because it was within a relatively short driving distance to any of the parks featured hikes. It’s not in a densely populous area, but you can still catch a few of your favorite fast food joints. The condition seemed a little old, but the staff was kind. It seemed as though this place had issues with tenants in the past and compelled us to know of their smoking and pet policy. Our room was comfortable, but not lavish. We had a dog across the hall that we could hear bark, but only from the hallway. Breakfast was closed due to the pandemic and the pool was also permanently closed, but it was still a nice enough stay.
My experience was horrible. The staff was not professional. The hallway reeked of animal urine and cigarette smoke. The bathroom was covered in piss stains, the ‘white’ bed sheets were stained with god knows what. Mold growing on the air conditioner, TV remote was sticky and nothing was dusted or even close to being sanitary.
Horribly dirty. I left for another facility and will seek a refund.

Dirty and smelly
The room was gross. Thank goodness we brought cleaner with us (because of coronavirus times) but we ended up wiping down the whole room and bathroom. There was thick dust/dirt on EVERYTHING, the fridge and freezer were full of spills, microwave very dirty. Even the TV and remote were just so dirty. The room smelled mildewy, the AC made a loud rattling noise at all times, the sink was slow draining so it filled up everytime we washed our hands or brushed our teeth, there was a lamp being held together by electrical tape, the bathroom shower head is broken and sprays all over and soaks the bathroom floor. The beds seemed to be cleanly made and were comfortable. Overall, we had an extremely uncomfortable stay and would never go back and probably will never give any baymont hotel another try. Yuck.

Disliked: Staff & service
No service desk staff upon arrival and could not check in. Was charged for the hotel and never successfully contacted by staff to let us know there would be know late check ins. The site says 24hr front desk, and there was not.
First bed was so completely uncomfortable springs in our backs, smelt like a musky ashtray , the whirlpool tub was falling apart, no breakfast as the site says due to the virus. Overall very disappointed and the people above us kept us up most the night due to the stomping around. For the $100 i paid for one night was the biggest waste of money

The rooms are dated. I don't understand why the pool was closed, and no breakfast.

Not a safe place for women traveling alone. On check-in the clerk spoke out my room number in front of other guests. An absolute NO fir women traveling alone. The clerk should point to room number NOT say it out loud. Side entrances are unlocked at all times - anyone can come into this hotel!!! When I mentioned this to morning attendant he said all side door locks had been deactivated because they had too much trouble with them. Well, if someone came in and committed a crime they’d have a lot more than trouble!
Old, filthy, unsanitary, weird, nasty! DO NOT STAY!!! If you booked through Orbits call them to cancel immediately. At check in they'll tell you to check out the room, close the door within 5-10 minutes you'll see. Look behind the bed, check out the stains every where & smell the linens. That potent pungent smell will keep you up all night. Check out the stale stag swimming pool water oh no just don't!
For the price i paid i cant really complain, and i like how they are pet friendly. The hotel is very dated though. Even the pool area was creepy.

Good value for price.
Easy access from I-80. Decent breakfast. Comfortable beds. Slightly dated. My room needed new bathtub surround. Yet clean and tidy. No mildew noted around tub. You can just tell it is time for some upgrades. Nice service at front desk. Good value for price.
Clean, friendly..sleep very well in a cozy and soft bed, spacious room and bathroom.
American breakfast, for the price i think is a good choice, specially for a business traveler like me.
Staff was very helpful room could use some TLC. Pool was nice fee breakfast from 6-9 very convenient

I make a point to speak of the positive also even when the negative was greater in this hotel. Negatives: Strange, odd, repulsive smell all through the building. Very much less noticable in the room. Thats a good thing. The breakfast was like visiting a broke college kids soup kitchen in the 80's. They water down the orange juice to where it tastes like orange water.. i told the front desk guy the orange juice was broken, and in a nutshell he said he knows and that Danny the supervisor knows of the complaints but disagrees that there is anything wrong with it. Trust me.. drink the apple juice. They forgot to screw that up for now. Make your own waffle, be in charge of your own breakfast destiny! Skip the coffee.. go to the gas station. Nuff said. The coffee pot is next to the toilet.. i just cant help but think of this new idea as the *Poo and Brew*. Clever.. but somehow i dont think its going to appeal to the masses. Ok, as promised, the Plus sides. The beds and pillows were So comfortable, no lie! They were clean and the linens smelled great. The employees there were nice. Not super southern hospitality nice, but nice.. and thats still a plus! The price for a hot tub (which was roomy) room was reasonable and worth it. Thanks for listening.

It’s ok
The staff was wonderful and it was all okay. The building was a bit dated and the pool area needed some attention, but no major concerns or complaints

Bathroom plumbing had deferred maintenance issues. Sink drain was slow, toilet ran, bathtub spigot diverter couldn't be fully extended. Heater fan in room was noisy.
