Rainbow Lodge
There were no outlets next to the bed, the water was brown when I first turned it on everyday. The deadbolt lock didn’t work so I prayed nobody would break in. Wasn’t clean when I first arrived.

Quality Inn & Suites South Fork - Wolf Creek
I think this was then only chain type hotel there in South Fork? Staff was courteous. I was only passing through on my way up to Wolf Creek to ski and stayed for one evening but it worked well for my stop. The only thing I would keep in mind is that there is no elevator. Property was great. Room clean and rays yo use kitchen. Hot tub was hot and the staff were super helpful. Little closer to ski resort than south fork

Windsor Hotel
A beautiful old building with lovely, clean, comfortable rooms. The Dining Room and the bistro have excellent food, great vibe, great staff. The ideal location for exploring the San Luis Valley. I will definitely be back.
