We stayed at Lake Hume Resort for just a day while passing through, but the place left a lasting impression on us.
The dam was absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky enough to witness a stunning sunrise that painted the water in soft gold and pink hues. It was one of those quiet, peaceful moments that stays with you long after you leave.
The room was pristine, modern, and equipped with all the required amenities to make our short stay comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the front desk staff were efficient and helpful, giving us clear directions and guidance without any hassle.
We truly loved our brief stay and will definitely return to explore more next time.
The room and bathroom was clean although not enough towels or toilets papers only 2 towels and 1 and half toilets rolls for 3 days. We informed the reception and nobody follow-up our requests. I'm a little bit disappointed with this. Luckily we had own towels from home and bought other things.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
no staff, no help, we were surrounded by water with flooding and no one was around. The room has carpet stains, really not as advertised. It claims to be a resort but is not. No food available, everything shut.

Very relaxed and scenic area. Our accommodation was ideal; clean and generously sized.
An old style room which was very clean room and clean amenities. Friendly staff at reception. A great stay for us. We will stay again.

Very few guests! Obviously no idea of how to bring senior citizens into the venue. Syed flies in the room and bathroom gave a bad feeling and smell of the room. Not what we had expected. The room wasn’t what we thought. No cooking possibly. Just as any hotel.
Area around abandoned!
The location was amazing as it is next to lake Hume. If you want a internet and phone detox, go to this resort. There is no internet connectivity and there is no restaurant. I was told about the issues with internet and unavailability of restaurant after my cancelation cooling off period was completed. I could have canceled my booking if I was told earlier.
We didn't had internet connection and phone network through out our stay and the hotel staff were helpless.
Pretty quiet and calm in the off season. Room is spacious, bathroom functional, nice to have a little shared patio to eat our breakfast on. Looking forward to coming back in the summer!
This was a good spot to stop after a bike ride along the rail trail. We don’t see a soul (staff) in our time there but appreciated the ease of getting our room key from the key box. A lovely location.
The property is under new ownership and you can see they are trying to upgrade the accommodation but the restaurant was not in operation and although the rooms had some renovation, the air conditioner was noisy and not very efficient. The bed was good and the room was spacious. Having some crockery, enabled us to make our own breakfast which was helpful without a restaurant or cafe nearby. I hope the resort can continue to be upgraded as we would like to re-visit in the future
