"Good for stop off if your on a long journey. Best to include food as there is nothing in area. We had half board dinner was good but breakfast was very basic. "Fascinating concept - i.e. staying in a cave - but the cave space wasn't much different from a country cottage once furnished with old furniture, lighting etc. Our living room was adequate, but the bathroom shower cubicle was in bbad condition. The bedroom (deeper into the cave) was delightful to look at, but the mattress and pillows were hard. Perhaps this place would be a lot better at the start of the season?"

"The hotel is in a beautiful location. The staff is very helpful, they went above and beyond. Language is an issue, but it is Spain and we all should try to speak the native tongue. The dinners and breakfasts were very tasty. The hotel caters to an older crowd, this should not disuade anyone. This hotel and its' staff were one of the highlights of my trip through Spain. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the spa is quite lovely."

"We used this hotel for an overnight stop on our way from Zaragoza to Almeria airport (picking someone up). Did not arrive till gone 9pm, but restaurant still open, had a great meal and some well deserved beers. Great find, very welcoming staff, everything in the room you would need and a great shower. Excellent value for money. Would use again if passing this way."

"At no time was the reception manned and we needed to ring a bell or shout "hello". There was no information on breakfast and almost no guests. The hotel has a nice facade but is dark inside and there is next to no activities. To access the pool we were led through a garage and the pool was not clean. There were five sunbeds in a shape that was very bad. The person in the reception was kind and nice, but did not speak any English and as mentioned had to be called from somewhere inside the hotel....

"Great experience staying in a ‘cave’ house. Very clean and cosy. Beautiful setting. The owners weren’t on site much (but can be phoned and respond quickly) so as long as you’re fairly self sufficient its not a problem. Best to bring your own food. Really looking forward to our arab bath booking but the hotel cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, which was a shame. Definitely need own transport. Overall a great experience. "

"We stayed in the upper tier called the "Level". The ease of having a refreshment and snacks (very nice tapas) plus the open access to the spa on return from the slopes makes this hotel very special. I will always try to stay at this hotel "If it is available". Book in advance. "
