The property was stunning, clean & gorgeous. The staff was great. Special shout out to Otilia for all her help getting my sister situated in my room. She's a lifesaver! Joanna: Great efforts on all your activities. I wish I had more time to participate but I was with the GSD Soccer group attending their functions. Nuno in the bar was fabulous too. The meal options were great as my husband LOVES fish & beer. He was very happy. Only dislike that is consistent with other comments: Towels for the pool area. I'm glad I read that and packed accordingly.

The resort had nice amenities. The food was the same basically every day, which is fine but if you desire a wide variety, you will not get that. The resort was very busy due to the festival going on, so my room was not properly cleaned daily. Towels weren't hung up, bed wasn't changed during my 5 nights I was there and the trash was ignored. I understand they get busy, but the staff should account for the fest and etc going on in the area. The spa was nice but you can't do any services as a couple. That's a bummer and can take up a lot of your time. If you need a taxi anywhere, schedule it immediately. Do not wait. Book your airport return service when you check in. The closet you get to your departure date, the more expensive it got. It shouldn't be that way, but that's what happened. There is an in house service that is a flat rate which good, but again book early! Use Uber and FreeNow as well. The room is a good size. The mattress is terrible. Period. There's a small kitchen which makes it nice if you want to make your own snacks and etc. Get to the pool early and claim your place. There's a bar outside too and entertainment. It can get loud and annoying so sit far away if that's not your thing.

Stay was great. Hotel location is perfect and the facilities and activities were very good. Food was good and the swimming pool awesome. Only thing we could have done with a kettle and a toaster in the room.

Modern, clean, spacious hotel
Lovely relaxing stay. Hotel was modern and clean with large, spacious rooms. Swimming pool was huge with ample sunbeds. We stayed on a B&B basis and breakfast had everything you could ask for. I would most definitely return to this hotel.

Alvor Baia serious about cleanliness during pandem
Hotel was very clean all around. Staff was friendly and were amazing at breakfast. It’s a large breakfast room with many visitors but staff served everyone with a smile and were helpful. Breakfast was also of a very good quality and a lots of variety. They were also very efficient in getting everything organized and cleaned!

Sufficient for overnight stay
Comfortable hotel that’s actually an all inclusive resort. We only stayed for one night during a short trip to Faro from Lisbon to Seville, but found the hotel to have everything we needed. The room was clean, although the beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable. Wifi worked well and room was equipped with a small stove and microwave. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming with a lack of fresh fruit, mostly canned fruit.

Lovely hotel. Perfect for families. Would not recommend for young couples. Depending on room location it can take a long time to walk from reception to your room. Rooms are clean but are not refreshed in the same way. Dirty sheets are not replaced daily. Pillows are the worst I have ever had in a hotel, they are all lumpy. Wrist band policy is terrible. I can see the point for all inclusive but it’s ridiculous if you’re only getting bed and breakfast. You need to wear for the entire stay. They are horrible by the end! Plus everyone in the town knows where you are staying. Very off-putting.

Nice hotel
The staff were helpful. Restaurants were good. There was a lot of food choices. Bars were always well stocked. The room was basic but clean, beds were hard. Shower was really good. The only thing this hotel lacked was adult entertainment. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday this is the place. Pool and grounds are fantastic. It’s about 15/20 minute walk into the village which was really nice.

Good Hotel but very overcrowded
The rooms are quite basic for a modern hotel with a pull out sofa bed which is rock hard to sleep on and very uncomfortable to sit on . The twin beds are also quite hard .There are two flat screen Tv’s in each room but the reception on them are awful and fuzzy. There is a microwave in the room which looks like it’s about 30 years old and it wouldn’t entice you to use it.The bathroom was the best part of the room and had a fantastic shower.The pool is huge and very family friendly but trying to get a sunbed is like a lottery unless you are up at the dawn. On the plus side of things this hotel has fantastic entertainment for both adults and kids with the animation team excellent . The food is also very good and the all inclusive drinks are served at the pool bar only which can have long queues but move quickly.We found the staff to be very friendly and on check out as we had a late flight we could use the all inclusive for the remainder of the day which was a nice touch . We found all the common areas spotless and well looked after ... Would we stay here again probably but if the hotel made a few changes with the rooms and the pool area a lot more people would recommend this hotel to there friends .

Really nice resort hotel. Rooms are large & clean, great shower. Food was good, although not much choice for vegetarians. Smoking was allowed anywhere outside, this should be restricted to designated areas as not pleasant for non smokers when sitting by the pool. The tennis paddle courts were charged at €20 an hour! This should be included and is not mentioned anywhere in the resort description. We felt this was too much to pay per hour, it appears so did everyone else as they were always empty! As a family we had a good stay and I would return.

Great hotel for all weathers
The hotel was well positioned with a free shuttle bus to the beach, including a free return to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and able to sort out any requests we had, from cleaning our room to getting a taxi to any destination. A handsome amount of leaflets were displayed in the reception of activities in the local area. Food was very nice and very family friendly.
