"This is a great place to stay. My only complaint is that the shower floor can get pretty slippery. I almost fell 3 times. I love the restaurant for breakfast. To my surprise, the front desk person spoke German, English and Spanish, which made it easy for me since I'm Hispanic. I also like the fact that they have parking and that the price was pretty reasonable."

Well I was surprised the bar was amazing and open 24 hours so despite me getting there at midnight it was buzzing. The self check in was difficult but staff were there.to do it old school. "The hotel is approx. 4 miles away from Berlin main railway station which is a 30 minute tram ride. The tram stop is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and the has a a bath with shower over which was quite powerful. "The Scandic was a great choice. The hotel is in a great location close to everything and easily accessible from the U2 metro. Having arrived early, the hotel held our bags whilst we went out, on return check in was easy and the staff pleasant. The room was very clean and had tea/coffee facilities and complementary water. There a a number of café, bars and restaurants close by. Overall, very happy with the hotel and location and would definitely stay again on a return to Berlin."
