Overall our staying was good, however since it was beginning of the April and central heating was already off, it was very cold in bathroom.
The rooms are dark. Even when we had big room in soace was only small windows

Fantastic service from the team at Almaty Hilton DoubleTree.
My trip was unexpectedly lengthened from 4 days to 21 and the hotel was accommodating with all my needs.
Great food also.
The hotel looks great at first glance. I visited for one night with my son. Unfortunately the visit wasn’t great overall and from other experiences I can confirm the food is not very good at all. Upon arrisecurity guard
Moving to Almaty soon, so we were there to visit. Great location, nice employees, very clean. They brought an actual crib for my baby. I wish there had been a mini bar, softer mattress, and bath tub. We had ac issues and they eventually fixed it.

Hotel was chosen for an transit overnight stay and though it was a 30 minute drive from the airport, we found the hotel very relaxing. This included the bed which is for me one of the prime requirements when traveling and wanting a good nights sleep.

We were advised this property had only opened 2 weeks prior to our arrival (late July 2019). We had specifically selected this hotel for the Hilton reputation and swimming pool facilities. Both let us down. 1) The pool was not finished (even though advertised with pictures). I was told notice online was provided but this was not the case nor were I advised as part of my booking confirmation. 2) The service and amenities was like staying at "Faulty Towers". Getting ice delivered was always delayed and required constant follow up with the customer care line. The wifi continued to drop out, to a point it no longer worked. The iron was not able to be plugged in to operate (a replacement iron was needed, that also took some time to arrange). There was no power point available in the bathroom to use the hair-dryer. The shower took time for the hot water to come through and then constantly dripped after the facet had been turned off. The person in the lobby was so un-welcoming making us feel uncomfortable each time we passed through. And the concierge was to busy to provide any help.
We were provided with a room upgrade after I expressed my disappointment with the swimming pool and asked if anything that could be done to improve our situation, though the upgraded room just brought more disappointment,
Such a shame as we were so looking forward to returning to the Hilton chain of hotels again.

Отличный отель. Ресторан на крыше - хорош! Бармен старался выполнить любую просьбу и мы даже придумали новый коктейль :-) Рекомендую!

Even if the hotel looks new, the bath is already quite used (room 711). TV was with weak reception (satellite?). At the check-in they wanted me to pay for the stay while I prepaid via hotel.com. Breakfast, staff and fitness center amazing.
