"The room was clean, nice size tall fridge, heating plate, microwave and electric tea kettle. They even provided 2 hotel style robes for our stay. Tony, the owner was an excellent host and responded promptly to our messages. Love the convenient drive up to our lodging door and no steps for ease in unloading and loading car. The room tastefully decorated as well. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting area under a canopy with fire heater, comfortable chairs, Christmas music and Christmas tree. We did choose this place because the reviews were 9.6 and they earned it. Great location, just a mile or 2 to downtown Grass Valley. "

Fun rooms, the most comfortable bed and quality linens, feather pillows etc. A few quirks that are very understandable in a historic building in the middle of town (sometimes loud at night) but they have thought about little things like ear plugs and noise machine. Great for a couple on a mid week getaway"
