"Room had all we need, easy access to apartment. Clean room with towels. Just a couple of stops on the subway which made the access to the centre very easy. Neighbourhood may appear a bit intimidating but we didn’t have any issues. Would stay there again"

"The bathrooms were always dirty, the showers were not clean and had no space to put our stuff in. Something that was warned is that they didn’t have WiFi, but I would suggest adding one to increase your qualities. "

"Please don't come here. Don't even think about coming here. I beg you. I'll just state the facts briefly. This place was on another site starting with A, too. There it was rated 1.7. I only stayed one night, and I fought with the front desk (over WhatsApp) for two days straight. I'm still fighting. For what? until the first day 4 pm, to get into the room; from 4 pm to 5 pm, to make sure the key worked; from 5 pm on, because the Wi-Fi didn't work, UNTIL NOW(it's been three weeks). I'm serious....

"The place wasn't even a hotel room but a small studio apartment that was rented out and not yet done with renovations. The door of our room had a letter "A" written in pen, taped on it, not even a proper room number. There were wires hanging out of a wall , some random furniture pieces, a queen bed, and a pullout couch that could only fit a child under 10. This space was presented as fitting 3 adults and 1 child. "This hotel was absolutely terrible. There was no proper cleanliness, no peace, and even the bathroom facilities were not working correctly. For example, the toilet seat was broken, the water in the shower didn’t drain and kept rising up to my ankles, and the same problem existed with the sink. The whole room was full of scratches and paint stains. Noise from the neighboring rooms could easily be heard all the time. Housekeeping was also done very poorly – I found spider webs inside the drawers...

"The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre a 15 minute tram ride from right outside takes you into the main shopping and cultural area. The front of the hotel does get road noise 24 hours. The area is industrial not scenic, but safe, with plenty of supermarkets a short tram ride or less than10 minute walk away. The local Spar satisfied what we needed. The Somerset is a great base to explore Vienna and the surrounding area, it's clean and functional as is Vienna as a whole. Internally there was no noise from other guests though the hotel was full. The kitchen area had everything you need to prepare basic meals though half our hob wasn't working at the time we visited. The shower and bathroom were spacious. The Aircon quickly sorted out the usual stuffy hotel room atmosphere on arrival and at night.The public transport system is fantastic, we bought a city centre ticket which covers buses trams and trains at €28 for a week absolute bargain but you will need an additional ticket €2.20 from the airport.If you do hire a car be warned the car park adjoining the hotel is €38 per day. Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel it was a last minute change of mind for us from a city centre hotel and we weren't disappointed. "
