"My wife and I enjoyed very much our stay. The property is located right on Praia da Costa, which is near everything from restaurants, pharmacies and shops and the process of checkin/checkout is very simple and efficient. I recommend this property and plan to come back soon."

"Foi incrível, maravilhoso, muito limpo, o nascer do sol nas montanhas é maravilhoso. O local é muito bonito, os passarinhos cantando e a paisagem é linda. O atendimento é top. Tem tudo pra fazer um café, churrasqueira top Fiquei na cabana do Pica-pau e eu e minha esposa achamos o máximo pq tem uma vista muito linda lá de cima. O sitio Balango está de parabéns!"

"Extremely confusing and a huge hassle to check in. I booked on Expedia and then some other company messaged me on WhatsApp saying I need to give them my name, personal information and credit card to check in. There was no mention of any of this during the booking. So I imagine it is a scam. But they seem to have all the information about me checking in and they kept telling me on the WhatsApp that if I don’t check in through with them, I won’t be able to do it with the front desk. I called Expedia and they said that it is a scam because they don’t know anything about this. It is not mentioned in their checking system. Finally it turns out it was the hotel but they don’t approach you with the same name of the hotel. It’s a different company name and they also ask you for a security deposit which was not mentioned during the reservation. And they don’t give you any towels or toiletries other than what’s there at the moment of arrival. It is extremely hard to check in and deal with them and they don’t take care of you afterwards."

"Great view from the rooftop pool area. Parking is available, but located around the corner from hotel entrance. Shops and supermarket near by were convenient. Breakfast was good with multiple options daily. Rooms were very basic without hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, or shower caps. Overall a good hotel downtown Vitória."

"The hotel was across from the beach and the view spectacular. The only concern was that housekeeping would leave our sheets folded on the bed and when we returned had to make our own beds. Also we have challenges with the safe but the staff were prompt to assist. The breakfast hosts were amazing and even though our Portuguese was limited they were courteous and very helpful. The most outstanding employee was our breakfast hostess who wore a hairnet and wore glasses. I can’t remember her name but she helped with ordering eggs and brought us freshly baked cheese rolls. Had a terrific smile. Coming from the Walt Disney Company in hotel management, she should be acknowledged for her magic. Thank you and we will be back"
