"This is a fantastic homestay location, and called "resort hotel in Thumboly" by some of the local auto drivers. I booked this on an impulse travel through hotels dot com website and fully enjoyed my stay. The owner (Mr. George) and the manager Mr. Shibu were prompt with communication and helpful. "Had a great boat ride on the lake. Attended a wedding here and they made it look beautiful. Rooms large and great view from balcony. Staff excellent and the rate for our room was great. Food was good with lots of choice, would highly recommend "

"It is like staying in a museum, in a good way. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The location opposite the beach, ignoring the flyover and the road, was great. Restaurant serves alcohol and bar area is attractive. Really quaint. Swimming pool looked dirty when we arrived but was immaculate by the next morning."

But remember that you are in a resort- best to go out and do some local shopping to get a real feel for the area.
