Perfect stay! The inn is lovely and cozy owned by a wonderful couple who made me feel right at home. The breakfast was great and very reasonably priced. They even agreed to store my baggage for several days while I hiked in the region. Can’t recommend enough!!

Amazing stay at the Brantfell house. We had our own parking spot and the location is great as it's close to restaurants. Mandy and Alfie were such great hosts and we, very much, enjoyed the breakfasts during our stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows! I would highly recommend staying here if you're up for an adventure at the Lake District!

Warm welcome, good breakfast, comfy bed

Mandy and Ade were really lovely hosts, a warm welcome on arrival and a great breakfast too. Good recommendation for a beer at the Golden Rule, what a great pub. Would happily return for another good nights sleep.

We had a great 2 day stay. Hotel is very clean, lovely room,fab breakfast. Aide and Mandy were a lovely couple, very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Brantfell to anyone staying in Ambleside. Overall everything was excellent and thanks to the fantadtic hosts xx

Excellent guest house in the midfle of Ambleside

Very clean and comfortable guest house right in the middle of Ambleside, with parking available in a space 100yds away. Great,friendly service and a really good breakfast,freshly prepared. Would def use again

Property was excellent. Double room was spacious and clean with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was good and the property is in a great location in Ambleside with access to many walks. Hosts were so friendly and gave us tips on where to eat, we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent would definitely recommend staying here. From the moment we arrived we felt at home, lovely warm welcome from Adie and Mandy. Room was clean and comfortable bed. The decor was excellent felt like a luxury hotel. Breakfast was amazing and great options.

Ambleside long weekend.

I would highly recommend this accommodation. Hosts were very informative and friendly with suggestions of where to visit and eat. Breakfast was perfect and freshly cooked to order. Clean and perfect location.

The Brantfell is a lovely B&B. The location is fantastic, so close to everything. We stsyed in the small.double and it is cosy but the perfect size for a couple of nights and had everything you need and lovely decor. We chose to have breakfast on our first morning and it was delicious! The parking for us wasjust over the road but that was fine and it's great to have parking included. Mandy and Adie couldn't have been better hosts. Would highly recommend and hopefully get a chance to coome.back again. Thank you!

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The hosts were fantastic – attentive and welcoming – and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and tidy, though a little on the small side. Parking was straightforward, which made the experience even more convenient.
