Our stay at Thornbank couldn't have been better. Jane and mark were wonderful hosts. The hotel was easy to find. Impeccably kept and had all the amenities you need. You could book breakfast and a variety of options were available. The lication was great perfevtly placed halfway between windermere and bowness for places to eat. The frontage of the house was beautiful with lots of flowers too which was lovely. We had a great time and would highly recommend

Great stay. Room was lovely, very nicely decorated, plenty big enough. Shower was nice. I would have preferred curtains instead of blinds as there was a bit of light seepage. Perfectly situated for a nice walk to the lake etc.
