"The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. "

"We were a family staying with our dog for a Lake District break. This home is really well located for the shops and cafes in the centre of Windermere which are a 1 minute easy walk away. We could also walk down to the Lake on nice walks in 15/20 mins and walking into Bowness which was about 1 mile. The property is spread over 3 floors and 3 shower rooms/toilets was a great bonus. Hot tub worked really well and was a nice treat and parking for 2 cars (1 off street, 1 with a residents permit)....

"Cleanliness was great! Garden is big but not very well maintained. It would had been good if there were some toiletries (no handwash, no shampoo or soap anywhere - had plenty of towels and napkins) which I feel is basic necessity and not everyone would carry it unless aware of not having it in the house and there is nowhere you can buy it from nearby. Overall cleanliness was amazing, location and space is nice, and I would book it again for these reasons."

"Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. "

"Excellent service. Top notch quality. Everything about it was so great and convenient. Special thanks to the reception team, has always been there for any needs. Cleaning crew has done housekeeping multiple times in our stay without even requesting. Clean towels, carpets, curtains, toiletries. It was the best hotel experience for us in a long time. We will surely be back Belsfield. Thanks to Charlie and the other reception team (didnโ€™t catch his name but wears spectacles) for being such an amazing host. Thank you"

"The Angel Inn was lovely and the staff couldn't have been nicer. There were some free things when using their app which were welcome. The inclusive breakfast was great and the location in Windermere was excellent allowing us to walk around the town and to the shore of the lake for boat trips. The rooms were very small even for one person so I think 2 might be challenging and the parking is not sufficient for all guests so it was hit or miss whether you got a space. Highly recommended though."
