"We were greeted on arrival at the B&B which was lovely and our room was comfortable and clean. Parking is available and their breakfast options numerous and filling."
"Fantastic location, staff were exceptional - especially given they were dealing with a very large group booking. Free Spa / Pool area is good and great after a long walk in the fells. Some areas of the hotel need a little TLC for the 4* rating."
"First time staying here it was fab and well situated for easy access to the lakes just of the A66. Was good value for money with outstanding service and food from Nikki and her small team. The room was small but functional and very clean, Super dog friendly and everything is thought of even a doggie menu. Will be staying again"

"Very spacious and clean rooms with excellent tea, coffee and hot chocolate, but please, three teabags for a room for two? Leisure facilities were excellent and quiet when we visited. The car park is tight, so larger vehicles beware. Walking distance from town centre."
"And older property that is tired. However, the room was very quiet despite being next to a door and lift. With the window open 6" it was warm and comfortable. Lots of hot water and a very handy but limited (paid) car parking.
AND the view over Windermere was FAB!!!!!
However, BE CAREFUL when entering and exiting the car parking to the main road - blind corner."
"My wife and i stayed here for our Wedding Anniversary, Monday to today. Excellent staff in particular Reception, Noel & Cheys in Brasserie. Btw the back area needs a few cobwebs cleaning around glass panels, a little off-putting but no big deal. Food excellent, views suberb. Boat trips, Aquarium and steam train on the doorstep. Expedia charged an extra £40 per night for the booking, my bill from hotel was £120 less when it was presented to me, they kept that so i will book direct in future. (Do not edit that bit out, booking fee is outrageous!!) Other than that, it was a wonderful relaxing stay. Pool was a decent size too for a morning swim.Thank you to the staff for making it so nice. Cheers Graham & Linda "
"Such a lovely stay. Lovely welcome and friendly receptionist very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed the pool & spa area, didn’t get to the gym but it looked good with a great view. Would highly recommend. "
