Great trip to the lakes

We had a great visit to Windermere, the Briery Wood hotel was good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and bright set in nice surroundings. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, unsure about 4 stars though.

Nice hotel, lovely grounds. Staff were super friendly and helpful and quickly solved an issue that we had. Restaurant and bar areas really nice and clean. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Linen not great. Walls are thin, can hear everyone and everything outside. Emergency lighting outside ‘garden rooms’ stays on all night making it look like it’s daylight all night long. Bar prices and food a little too expensive.

Superb

Everything about this hotel is superb. The room is lovely and spacious with a big, super king bed. The bathroom bright and modern. This hotel is clearly very well looked after. The staff are incredibly polite and great at their jobs. The food... delicious, from starter through to dessert. I fully expect to return and look forward to doing so.

Brilliant dog friendly hotel

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, staff are brilliant, so attentive to both us and our French Bulldog, nothing was too much trouble. Food was reasonable and really tasty. Garden rooms with a door directly from the bedroom to the garden is a massive plus Will definitely be back
