"I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. They are very environmentally aware and encourage guests to be mindful as well. I arrived too late for dinner but breakfast was tasty and I only stayed one night. There were families/folk enjoying the hammocks in the garden and an outdoor almost people sized game of chess."

"A big old hotel about a mile off the main road, wondered where we were going to start with as you couldn,t see the building. When we got there it had such character nothing modern looking at all, the reception staff were very happy to see you . The rooms had real doors keys and were comfortable. The staff did there best to understand our food intolerances which enabled us to eat in the restraunt. All in all a very pleasant overnight stay. Thankyou Shap Wells Hotel"
