Lovely spot. Warm,Spotless and spacious. We were in room 2 overlooking the street and an adjacent park.
The room was spacious and clean. The cooked breakfast was well presented, hot and filling, particurally after avert varied choice of cereals, fruit and yoghurt. The owners were interested in what we were doing and ensured we had the best experience that they could offer.
Stopped One night perfect the owner was lovely very welcoming and gave advice on parking and local area
Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable
Would highly recommend staying at Albany House when in Penrith! It was a lovely bed & breakfast in a great location. It was our first time in Penrith and we really enjoyed exploring the town and then returning to our clean and comfortable room at Albany House in the evening.
This proved to be one of the superior B&Bs we have ever used. Apart from the comfort and cleanliness we discovered two small brownies and two KitKats on the tea tray. Breakfast was delicious - porridge, fresh fruit salad, any cereals, full breakfasts and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon . Very inexpensive.
This was a good location to jump off the motorway for an overnight stay. I arrived about 9.15pm and was welcomed in warmly. I was given a parking permit to put on the car which was parked on the road outside. The room was immaculate and spacious for 2 adults. It was lovely to get some divine chocolate brownies which hit the spot with a cup of tea before bed. Slept very well.
The shower was great the next morning with small bottles of shampoo and shower gel provided. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Will definitely stay again.
Thank you
Very clean and comfortable stay. The shower rooms was very clean.
I was particularly impressed with the English Breakfast. The quantity and taste are very satisfying.
Albany House was lovely. It was clean and the room was great. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very accommodating. Would highly recommend:)
My first experience in a bed and breakfast in Penrith was very nice. Big bay windows and a large bedroom all to myself. The lady who served me was very nice and pleasant with me. She taught me how to open the door if I came back late.
