"The website says parking is 10 Euros per day, the hotel charges 20 Euros per day. This needs to be corrected. The property has little for amenities. The restaurant next door is very expensive with a very limited menu compared to most IHG sites where the restaurant is associated with the hotel. Breakfast is good. The restaurant also owns the pool not the hotel. The website does not mention a pool in the amenities but should with the cost of using the pool in the website."

"This is the 4th time that we have stayed at this property, which is well maintained, well appointed and conveniently located. Breakfasts are good, although the service is a bit inflexible with only two types of egg preparation (scrambles and boiled). But each stay has been marked by a dour, miserable attitude by both reception and outlet staff. This is a pity, as this hotel could easily be a 5 star accommodation."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Convento Espinheiro. The staff was very amicable and helpful. There were minor maintenance issues in our room, such as the bidet toilet attachment and the shower handles, but everything else was superb. The restaurants are top notch!"

"After issues with getting access codes that only seemed to be resolved with calling Germany directly, we checked in at the time they wanted despite being granted an early check in! After that all was good, clean efficient 2 rooms and living room, kitchen with all that was required. Espresso machine!! Laundry a bonus! But not the most efficient dryer. Drying takes a minimum of 2.5 hours. Parking annoying as not on site or close (residents only) so very 4 hr by the meter. Close walk to everything so all in all a good simple choice."
