Top Amherst Hotel Reviews

The Orbit Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

8/10 Good

"Clean hotel, but due to age there were some flawed areas in our room and some technology wasn't working correctly (e.g. tvs, lights)."

South Ridge Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Great value for the price. No complaints."

Motel 6 Huron, OH - Sandusky

8/10 Good

"Free parking. Staff were friendly. Room was decent. They have a hot tub and pool but didn’t get to use. Close to Cedar Point and amenities. Did its job!"

Comfort Inn River's Edge

8/10 Good

"Great location. Most of the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. Beds and room were comfortable. Breakfast was decent - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle machine, yogurt, fruit cereal, etc. The hotel was not filthy but it wasn't super clean either."

Cedar Point's Express Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great location to the park and the area."

Cedar Cove

8/10 Good

"The place was clean and the staff were friendly. Good enough for a ,well priced, place to lay your head after a long day at the amusement park. It has the feel of renovations done quickly by people not concerned with the details. I liked the solid surface flooring, no carpet. Beds were advertised queen size but were full size. Plenty of fresh towels and they changed them out during our day out. If you’re a light sleeper this or any places close to it are not for you. The train ran every 15/20 minutes both nights (Friday/Saturday). Pool is outdoors so it was closed (October stay) The continental breakfast was sparse but had the basics to fill your belly. They have a fresh pancakes machine which was kinda fun. Coffee had a decent flavor and was hot."

South Shore Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Fantastic stay close to cedar point"

Wyndham Garden Westlake

8/10 Good

"Nice place ti stay close to shopping"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sandusky by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was very clean, the staff was all very friendly and helpful. The whole stay was pleasant, accommodating and the breakfast had a great selection, food was hot and good."
