This is a filthy hotel!

This was the worst hotel I stayed at in India. When checking into the hotel, there were no towels in the room, no heating (it was cold), the room was dirty, and the hotel smelled. On top of this, the front desk staff called my room a few times to try to sell a trip to the Wagah Border—they even asked again when they brought me the half-dry towels.

I was very disappointed with the response of the staff. There was no lift and the stair was steep and narrow. Bathroom was very congested. Bed was hard like rock. Better avoid it

Staff didnt speak english power goes off during the day. Lifts only work sometimes. Porter asked for a tip in our local dollar... when we refused he wasnt nice to us afterwards.

On the webiste the acxomdation loooked good... the room Was average, there was continuous dust in stairway, the power kepted on getting cutting off....One day we had to wait for hot water. At night there was alot of big banging noises. None of the staff spoke english and the porter asked for tipa in our local country. How rude!

Comfortable and close to golden temple area

Nice stay. They allowed us to check in quite early. Breakfast was nice. Plenty of hot water (though very low water pressure). Very comfortable bed with a blanket provided. You can walk to the golden temple and other surrounding sights in about 10 minutes.

Near by Golden template and other historical place

Room (301) had bad smell (continuously for 2 days). No water in rooms had to buy. Breakfast was booked already in advance but still they charged me for eggs. What we got was Parantha and curd in 300 per person per day. Someone from hotel/other room was keep dialing room number (intercom) and was abusive had to complain at reception but still calls were coming.

Quite close to Golden Temple and market

Hotel is good for family stay. the hotel has a solar water heater which caters to all the rooms which failed during our stay & we were dependent on rationed hot water. Otherwise food quality was excellent more of a homely kind.

Service and cleanliness lets down the Hotel.

Rooms and Bathrooms are very spacious and amenities such as air conditioner and beds are really good. But where everything comes down to below standard is service and cleanliness. Starting from the front desk to hotel restaurant to rooms the cleanliness is a big let down. In fact the restaurant area should have atleast 2 more AC units while the food served should be of better quality. Ordering something and getting it on time is a big question... On the other hand cleanliness of rooms is also way below average. They need to provide atleast 2 towels for 1 room and house keeping staff should be much more professional when it comes to cleaning.

Nice hotel close to golden temple

Best place to stay in amritsar if you are a tourist. Value for money and 10 min walk from golden temple. I dint like the food though . Thanks .would definitely recommend
