"Really lovely apartment in a great location. We stayed with a 6 month old baby and 4 year old and it was ideal for quiet. If you had a kid between these ages the stairs might not have been safe but for us it wasn't a problem. Kitchen was helpful and well equipped for basic meals and a nice big fridge and dining table. Really close to bus and tram stops for all the tourist spots and cheap to get to central station / museums etc. "

"We stayed 9 nights at BOB W Oosterpark in May 2025 and had a lovely experience. The hotel is very modern inside, the beds are comfortable, there is a shared kitchen with all necessities for longer stay. The water pressure in the showers is excellent. Hotel is very clean and spacious, and location is close to trams, great restaurants and shopping. The area is very walkable and local bakeries have incredible selection of sweets and great coffee. "I personally liked it because my aunt lives nearby. The shopping, access to tram and city centre make this a great place to stay, A market practicallly out the door and tram down the street have easy transportation. Since it is not city centre it is in a quiet area and good service at the hotel desk."

The Frans Hals apartment is on the back, with a garden view (but no access to the garden), and very quiet. Major negative is tiny bedroom, barely big enough for double bed. Good bathroom and shower, adequate kitchenette. Dishwasher is tricky: won’t start unless upper tray is pushed all the way in, including the tabs at the sides. "
