Super cool hotel on IJ walkable to Centraal Station. Great restaurant where we had a lovely dinner and breakfast. There’s a coffee shop, spa, rooftop bar, and pool too. Staff were all friendly and informative and professional. We had a room with a balcony and enjoyed the fresh air. Loved our two night stay (too short!); we will be back.

The check in staff was very helpful, including a few places to check out and safety tips. Food was amazing at the restaurant and breakfast included was an awesome and so helpful. This hotel is ideal if this your night before a cruise or riverboat cruise as the terminal for both are about a 7.00 euro trip away by cab. You are also about a 15-20 min walk away from the central station- without luggage . The central station has a pharmacy and tourist doctor office all in one. Will definitely recommend.

The hotel was very quiet relaxing with the views, would benefit from mats in the shower or some non slip. Breakfast had alot of different options. Fruits cereals bacon pancakes etc. it rained alot on our trip having the hotels umbrellas helped ALOT. We only found out the second last day the hotel had bikes to hire. Would have hired if we had known. Having excursion leaflets or tourist maps within the room to look at would be good. The hotel decor was beautiful inside with the LIVE plants

Great stay at Hotel Jakarta…hotel is clean, staff are friendly and very helpful…breakfast was nice, lots of variety. The bakery is very nice too. Added bonus to have the spa and swimming pool, which we had most days. Would definitely go back.

Staff is great. Very rare to have all hotel staff to be very helpful and always with a smile. The room is specious and very clean. Breakfast food had variety of hot and cold options, everything was tasty. Special thanks to Charona who helped us at the front desk on arrival and to Tess who helped us on the departure. Both were tentative and with a smile. I loved this hotel as a package. I couldn’t fault it any part of my stay. I will definitely stay here again.

Do not book! This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and it’s a long trek from public transit if you have suitcases. The hotel rooms are joyless little cubes, with inadequate and inscrutable lighting, a glass bathroom that’s like showering in a fishbowl, and insufficient space to even open your suitcases. The restaurant is decent, and the view is OK on the river side, but the other factors make this a pass.

We were leaving Amsterdam from the Cruiseship terminal so wanted to be in close proximity. It was very convenient to the terminal as well as the tram to get us to Central Station. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic with everything you would want for breakfast. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely hotel with excellent and clean rooms. Especially enjoyed walking through the tropical garden inside the hotel lobby. Very unique design. Great view of the water from the balcony. Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam has been my go-to hotel and absolute utopia for business travel in 2026 across three lengthy stays. A fantastic hotel with a calm, premium atmosphere, excellent staff and great facilities. Perfect for business or leisure, with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast and bar. Highly recommended.
