Clean hotel and room even though it was a little crowded. Neighborhood looks a little dicy, but did not feel unsafe. Steps leading up to door are *very* steep, as are stairs leading to basement room(s). Nice to have code for late check-in. Staffing hours are a little weird, but the person I talked to when they were open was very friendly. Overall it was a nice stay.

The location was fine and upon check-in, the receptionist helped carry our luggage to our first floor room. The shower did not have a door so the floor got very wet and the Wi-Fi went down after we checked in. We were there for three nights without Wi-Fi.

Absolutely zero sound-proofing, even the quietest footsteps are reverberated through the room. Very charming little hotel, excellent central location. Expect absolutely nothing from the staff, and expect zero assistance from Hotel Management, entirely unresponsive to phone calls and emails. Cannot recommend due to poor service, horrible sleep quality. A warning to those booking the Twin Room - the bathroom is a tripping hazard, I tripped several times, as an active adult. The cleaning left a lot to be desired, crusty spots on the curtains, filthy A/C unit.

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, good value for typical tourist hotel in Amsterdam. Location is ok, between museums and the center. They rent bikes which is great if you can ride.

Lovely room, has everything I needed and a good size too with a nice view of the canal. The staff were wonderful and even left me a gift and balloons as it was my birthday which was such a kind gesture. Nice location near vondenpark and the tram line which was handy for trips to the centre although I did walk it on occasion.

Location wasn’t too far from public transportation. Rooms were pretty cramped for our family of 4 and wall were thin so was easy to hear neighbors, but at the end of the day the key is comfortable bed, clean, and hot shower which hotel got all those marks.
