It was a very nice stay for a hostel, the staff were friendly and it is located in an amazing spot to explore the city. Would stay here again if I came back to Amsterdam

The property is a short walk from the teain station. Safe and clean enough. No Guest policy makes it safer, but limits social life. You must stay sober enough to negotiate stairs. Handy community toilet on each floor next to the stairwell.

The location is great and the value was very good. It is in an area where the partying goes on until late in the morning so perhaps be aware of that if you plan on going to bed early and need quiet.

All you need in a place the lay your head

Booked a private 4 person room and it was perfect for what we needed, stairs are a killer so will aim for a lower floor next time but all you need in the heart of the city

Good value for money

The hotel was good value for the money we paid. The staff was really friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. All id say us if you have any problems walking make sure you ask for bottom floor as the steps are a nightmare to get up. But again the staff did there best to get us movedvto help my friend who has heaet problems.

The centre of Amsterdam on a budget

This was over New Years. It is a budget hotel so frills, room service and a pleather of staff milling round pandering to your every need is not going to happen. Staff are helpful and pleasant.was there for 5 days. Keep the room tidy as there is no maid service. If you want a warm comfortable room right in the centre of Amsterdam look no further. For me it was perfect, close to the train station and the city square. Everything was in a 10 minute walk.

Nice staff but awful place to stay, rooms dirty and small. Noisy, and there is no lift. Not fun and not safe carrying your luggage up their very narrow stairs.. instant regret in not spending a bit more and booking something a bit nicer ..

Street noise gets in the room, floor was not clean at the arrival. There's no luggage storage after checkout. Stairs are narrow enough to prevent large luggage from passing.

Room was infested with bedbugs and we were unable to be moved until the second night resulting in us being bitten throughly. However, the second room was clean and tidy and showned no sign of bedbugs.

I like the room its clean but too small.. the staff was not able to answer my question via online. Staff was not responsive to my queries via online. The rooms are not sound proof as you can hear neighbours’ noise. The area was noisy too.. However, its close to the central and not too bad for a night stay
