"The breakfast was delicious. There was a sumptuous spread. The owner made these two delicious Italian cakes.
They were lovely and accommodating with our requests. They let us leave our luggage with them, before checking in and after checking out.
The room was beautiful with a lovely view.
Had a lovely stay. Would happily come back. "

"Enjoyed our stay very much. Location was perfect for us, with proximity to walks on Monte Solaro and wonderful views. Hosts were very friendly and attentive. Room was nice and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. "

"The location and the view were amazing . The gentleman working there was extremely helpful, he explained us how to get the most from the island, what to visit and when .
As said, the view made the most of the stay , but the room was really old and smelly . We tried as much as we could to keep up the doors open , but without any luck. Loads of mosquitoes on the island , we wake up every morning more bitten than the previous night. Overall, an average stay , if we don’t count at all the room that...

"We have just arrived home from an amazing stay in Praiano. We stayed in La Barbera B & B. We having nothing but positive words to say about this place! From the moment we arrived, we were met by two wonderful staff members. Sylvia was a delight. So very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable about the area and offered great advice and recommendations. Our room was beautiful with the most amazing views over the coastline. The jacuzzi hot bath on there was luxurious! Furthermore, the breakfast was...

"We had a great stay here. The views are simply amazing and the pool area is lovely to pass a relaxing few hours. We thoroughly recommend staying at Villa La Ventana for a wonderful place to explore both the Amalfi coast and Sorrento peninsula. You need a car to make the most of the location but well worth being away from the main tourist hustle & bustle. A friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay at this family-owned establishment from the three brothers who between them offer...

"I like the beach was clean and beautiful, I don't like the the waitress at the restaurant, they are very pushing, and rude and allways ask about the tip to be in cash, also staff are not friendly at all, I love Capri is a beautiful place."
"Amazing staff, nice property. Breakfast was just ok. It's a bit out of town which is nice for some- the walk isn't bad but parts without sidewalks make it less safe at night.
Fitness facility is mediocre- very basic and no a/c until staff came in after 9am
Also nowhere to grab coffee or food before 7am which is challenging for jet lag/ early risers
Staff was very helpful and friendly!"
"The hotel is not in Sorrento, but they operate a shuttle bus hourly. If you’re looking for town centre location, this is not for you.
The hotel is set high above Sorrento and from the public spaces, commands sensational views across the Gulf of Naples, and an amazing view over Sorrento itself and Vesuvius! It’s a hard view to beat!
The hotel & rooms are spotlessly clean, the bar and terrace all have amazing views and the swimming pool is lovely, although was almost bath temperature whilst we were there so ideal.
We had partial sea view rooms with balcony on 1st floor (224 and 222 which our daughters had). The rooms really need updating as look very dated and the balcony and partial sea view were just not worth the extra money. Also no coffee/tea making facilities which is always a negative for me. However, beds were very comfortable and the rooms have AC.
Restaurant was very good, although we ate quite simply (ie pasta!) and the bar was great - hotel prices obviously. Breakfast was excellent. Same dining room as dinner and a lovely space to eat in.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be plentiful and universally excellent, in particular the receptionists.
Note on travel: it’s worth taking a taxi or using the hotel airport transfer service. Public transport looks good on paper, but the trains are rammed. We did a trip to Pompeii by train and it was so crowded we got an uber back to the hotel. Costly but money well spent!"
"The hotel and amenities were amazing, food and drinks delicious, the location is perfect and the staff could not have been more professional, helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s fabulous!"
"Overall Nice hotel. Bonus of outdoor pool. There is a good breakfast selection.
Standard rooms are fairly small.
Communication could do with improvement."
"Like: Very helpful staff, family-friendly, Great location, family suite was spotless and updated
Could use improvement:
- Suite with terrace we stayed in 1st 5 nights: A/C did not work, Pillows were too flat very hard to sleep on"
"Lovely property! However, there were just 2 (albeit important) items that were inconvenient. The first is the lack of on-site parking and/or valet. We had a car rental and had to park the car in a lot which the hotel claims is 5 min walk away. It’s more like 10-15 min and not an easy walk. Not something I prefer to do when checking into a hotel. The other inconvenient thing was the noisy doors! They made so much noise that they’d wake you up with a loud bang very early in the morning. They seem like the original doors to the building from years ago. They’re old and need updating. Beyond this, the hotel is very charming and super clean. Rooms are huge."
"Gorgeous waterfront views, cool docks for tanning and swimming. The tv in Our room had only a couple of English speaking channels and no internet tv. Additionally the thermostat was difficult to work and kept going back to the default temp- also very small awkward view of only the pool"
