Hotels near Anacostia River

"Location was great, subway was just a block or 2 away. Staff was great. 20 minute walk to a few of the museums. As for the room, there were 2 red jellybeans on the floor by the beds. Even after 1 night and housekeeping came, they were still there. Sink had chips/crack, visible stains on carpet. Bathroom was clean, but those details took away the quality that was expected. Pillows were too big or bulky, not comfortable to sleep on. "

"The property has great vibe with modern interiors and excellent location in the heart of downtown DC. It is in walking distance to top rated restaurants, museums and lots of other monuments, famous government buildings. The hotel is super well maintained with spot free premises, high speed elevators and welcoming staff."

"A new section of the city for me, and not one I'd normally consider looking for a hotel in. But definitely worth it! I'm going to prioritize it for my next trip. High quality without the hotel chain feel."

"Cleaning stuff does not know how to clean properly and even after requesting cleaning repeatedly they would not clean the room properly or at all. In some cases the toilet flush had an issue from day one and in a 9-day stay they could not get it fixed. So stop at breakfast was quite rude as well. Only redeeming value was when complaint they did offer in the last two days to switch your new room, but at that point there's no value in us switching to in your room. So if you do take up that offer."

"Front counter person told me I get a free bottle of wine. Said I didn’t drink alcohol but would take a soda instead if they offered. Just said sorry no. For those who do not drink or have had issues with substance abuse. This kind of stunk. If you’re willing to give a bottle a wine offer a free 2 liter. "
