The terrace and pool spaces are lovely and peaceful, the wi-fi was great, and even the room temperature stayed cool despite the hot weather outside. The manager Yannis was attentive and provided us with detailed information about nearby restaurants, markets, and places to go. and went above beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. "We’ve been staying at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso for almost 20 years. It’s always been our little “hidden gem,” especially while most of our friends opt to stay closer to central Athens.
Last year, we noticed a few hiccups—reduced staffing, less attentiveness around the pool, and some decline in room quality. But this year, everything changed—for the better!
From the moment we checked in, the warm and genuine Greek hospitality returned. We felt that traditional “home” feeling we’ve always loved. The rooms were spotless and, as always, offered breathtaking views of the ocean.
The pool area has been completely redone and looks absolutely stunning. The entire space feels refreshed and inviting. The staff—especially Denai and Petros, along with others whose names escape me—were incredible. They anticipated our needs before we even asked. Their attentiveness and care made us feel truly valued.
Evenings at the bar and restaurant were a highlight. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and exceptional service.
