The Grand Central Hotel is not open for business but they do take your money (Non-refundable) and Expedia still offers their services but cannot get you a refund. Not kidding. Do not book a room. The doors are literally chained shut. They have been cloed since March 2020. Also I didn't realize when booking for myself and my family that it is right in the middle of the redlight district...oops.

The location is good if you are into nightlife, pubs, clubs and girlie bars, but the hotel itself is in very poor condition. The lift is so slow you could walk up and down the stairs quicker. My room was on the top floor and did have access to the roof pool which would have been a lot better if the spa had water in it! The shower in the room was terrible and when turned on would immediately point to ceiling. When I asked to have it fixed they said its a new shower and didn't need fixing! Trust me it needed fixing and they didn't fix it. Apart from that I thought it was way overpriced considering the overall condition of the property which was very poor. The staff were mostly helpful apart from the shower problem, but don't expect much if you go there as you will be sorely disappointed.

Rooms towards back away from walking street are quiet. Rooms are modern and more upscale than the other hotels nearby. The suites has better linen and a living room. The location is dead center of walking street. Easy to meet people and just a few steps from dozens of bars and restaurants.

Girls in housekeeping were great. Front porters were top notch. Girls in restaurant were on point. The elevator was a little scary. I was always afraid it would get stuck. The young girl in the daytime shift is less than helpful. And her attitude definitely needs some improvement. I had to come back 3 times to receive my receipt. And each time she had not written it out yet. Finally the other lady on daytime shift filled it out with the wrong info. It wasn’t worth waiting around for the correction in the hot lobby.

A confortable place in the walking street.
A nice roomy hotel. The cafe out front is a relaxing locations for a latte and the food and barista are first rate. There is plenty of security in the street making this a foreigner friendly area.

Location is the best feature of this hotel. It sits in the area I was looking to be in for my week stay. The lobby coffee shop and food service were very good. It quickly became a regular stop for drinks and food. Hope to revisit some day soon.

The rooms are terrible!!
I booked a room using your service for an 8 night stay. Upon arrival and checking into my room I noticed the condition of the room was less than adequate the paint peeling from the walls and the possible growth of mold behind the mattress was unacceptable, so I spoke with the hotel staff and they informed me that they would move my room but were unable too due to occupancy and it would be 1 day before they could do so. As promised they moved my room and for about 2 days I didn't have any issues until I noticed a roach in the bathroom on the sink. Then 2 more in the bathroom the following day, as well as a roach in the living area of the room. I notified hotel staff and they sprayed with the bug killing product called "Raid". This product only kills roaches if they're sprayed directly so it was pretty much useless. At this point I was ready to leave and Hotels.com and the Manager on duty spoke with and came up with a solution to give me a $100 credit as well as refund 1 night of my stay and move my room for the 3rd time. The 3rd room was supposed to be a remodeled suit. Once again a roach and the cleanliness of the room was terrible. See pics. See pics below of each room. I didn't take pictures of the roaches in the second room, I had already flushed them down the toilet, not thinking. But the 3rd room I did. I'm in no way pleased with the conditions of the rooms that I have stayed in.

Too disappointing ... Choose a different hotel
We were so disappointed with the lack of quality that we refused to stay there. The room furnishings looked old and outdated. The room pictured in the photo looked nice, the room they offered looked hideous. Then they told us that construction would be going on within the hotel so the noise will probably be a distraction. No. Unacceptable. We decided to stay elsewhere.

My friends and I decide to stay here a a little stop over for relaxation. Not a bad stay for the price. Lots of complaints about the elevator situation. Only 4 elevators for 3 different hotel/condos very busy all the time. Wait time could exceed 20mins with staff and guests using the same elevators. Otherwise not a bad stay for the price.

Cleanliness issues and construction noise
Construction works just beside the rooms are extremely loud and are carried out from 7am to 4pm. Was unable to get much sleep becaise of this horrible noise and it affects quite a free rooms. Bathroom did not seem clean and water had discoiouration and strange smell. Will never stay here again.

Relatively well appointed room for the price. Located on 'Walking Street' right in the middle of all the actions. Could get noisy sometimes but it never bothered me. Overall good value for money.

My favorite hotel in Angeles. Only bad thing was that management wanted to charge me 200php per hour as I waited in the room for their car to transport me back to Manila for my flight.

Perfect Location
I was a little nervous to visit Angeles city as a westerner on my own for the 1st time. I am so happy that I chose this hotel. From the moment I 1st walked in this hotel I was treated as part of the owner's family. Dan the owner gave me a room right next to his and had the manager Mark personally show me around the strip to meet the local bar owners, and I felt the safest I have ever felt since stepping into the Philippines. The hotel itself is beautiful and spacious. Comes complete with a restaurant and bar on the 1st floor. You can sit at one of the tables on the porch and people watch. It is directly across the street from Viking and is in the center of all the action. The female staff are beautiful and will treat you like a king without ever trying to upsell you on anything. I mistakenly left my watch on the table and the male staff tracked me down immediately and returned it before I even realized it was missing. Central Hote is the best spot for foreignors on the strip!

great hotel in great location on walking st. The outside seating area for a drink or food was great.We really didnt go anywhere except on walking street because we were there only one night. Only one thing wrong with hotel was that balcony only overlooked small house tops.We would definitely come back.They even had a car take us to manila for 3,000p (3 of us instead of bus and trikes.

Good Hotel
Hotel is good for a short stay. Staff is helpful. Hallways are a little worn down. Room is nice and spacious. Good selection of food at bottom restaurant. Outdoor sitting area is a good place to meet friends and people watch.

Hotel has a very good location and as with most Angeles hotels, the staff was great. Food was good walking street location excellent. Cons are only 2 bath towels, no face towels or wash cloths.

I was in Angeles City for the cheap prostitutes. For about $50-to-$60, you get a girl for the entire night, and can bring four back to your hotel room; no problem.

Perfect location!
Suite room is ok, in the middle of all clubs and bars. Location in perfect! Cold ac and big bed. The lobby has a great cafe. Now the bad: elevator is tiny and broke a day into my stay. I would recommend this and will stay again for the ease of bar hopping.

Red light hotel
We didn't know that Grand Central was smack in the middle of a red light district. It didn't bother us, but it might not be some people's idea of a good location. Others may like this location. We picked the room with a spa in it and it also had a sauna. However, this room, and I assume the other room on the first floor, had no windows. Rooms upstairs have balconies facing the street which could be noisy as the street is alive with noise at night, but just music and barkers, no vehicles. Because our room had a large spa and a sauna in it, the space was a bit cramped for the king bed, armoire with fridge, and desk. The bathroom was small with black walls. Since our room had no windows and we had 4 doors between us and the open restaurant in front and the street, our room was nice and quiet despite the street it was on. There really is no hotel lobby to speak of, just a two-person counter facing the open-air restaurant and the street. To check-in to the hotel, we had to find parking first elsewhere, walk to the hotel, and then go back to the car with a hotel personnel to park in another hotel's spot a couple of blocks away. Fields Avenue is closed to vehicles from sometime in the afternoon until sometime in the early morning, maybe 4 pm to 4 am.

Nice Hotel to stay
Hotel is located along Walking Street. Although the hotel looks a bit old, is a very nice hotel to stay in. A very nice place to relax in the afternoon at the restaurant with a cup of cold coffee or fruit shake. Luckily for me having a room balcony facing directly on the Walking Street. The counter staffs & the waitress were very friendly too. Will definitely stay in the same hotel if I travel Clark again.

Nice if you want to stay right in the middle of Fields Avenue with all the noise. Terrible room Dirty and not maintained. My balcony was dirty and need of repair it was unusable. Last two days of my day I was moved to another room balcony much better. I was there for five days a lounge and have cocktails in the lounge quite often I don't think I got smiled at by a waitress one time. Very unfriendly and poor service The only good note about the hotel was a lounge singer Tod Woodward from Australia he was very good. If you want to stay in the overpriced cheep hotel right where the action is I guess this might be a good choice you have to pay for ice to get sent to your room and most of the time it never arrived

Some staff are excellent and very helpful specially a male staff who did is best to help me to reset internet connection that wasn't working in my room and he end up offering me another room after failed to get me the connection,. Staff at hotel reception are good too. but restaurant staff no smile in face no even thanks when they collect money for the bill. They need more training in how to treat customers. Hotel Internet is the worse ever in that hotel. I do not recommend this hotel . My other experience in other hotels far better than this one

Nasty bathrrom.
Room was not clean when I arrived, and it appeared that cleaning service only did the minimum on a daily basis, (change towels and make bed.) Shower was very dirty, mold in shower, and shower floors. Toilet had urine around the rim. There were towels, but no wash clothes. Towels were very old and had turned light grey from age and use. Hotel is only good for it's location.
