"In Callander this is one of the best located property on the main road just behind the coop store which is very well known. It’s got very convenient parking right on-site. It’s one level up so not easy for seniors to carry their large suitcases up . Also this being an attic house the heights are very low and you have to mind your head all the time. It was very well appointed for all regular needs and very clean , spic and span. It’s ok for a short one night stay when you could manage without opening your bags. Host was very responsive and nice so full marks to him . Ravi Saxena ( stayed one night )"

"On first arriving was a bit disappointed with initial outlook but this was a wee surprise. Staff on checking in were very nice gave us directions to free parking at back of the hotel. Room was very clean and tidy bathroom was clean but for safety could do with a handle to get in and out of the shower maybe a nonslip mat in the bath and a bath mat to step out. The bar was well stocked and fairly reasonable priced, entertainment on Saturday was great amazing singer. Food at breakfast was good but the Bistro for dinner Saturday night was first class plenty to choose from Featherblade Beef Risotto was to die for. A two night stay was fantastic would defo be back. Thank you."

"We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Shower was amazing. We had a room overlooking the river. Great choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend having the full breakfast."

"Had a lovely stay at this hotel, host was polite and welcoming, we enjoyed lovely Indian starters and a drink for good prices at the friendly bar. Room comfortable. Car park to rear very handy though big potholes that you can't avoid. Host recommended nice cafe for breakfast across the street where we could get a discount due to hotel stay. We would return and look forward to trying a nice curry in main restaurant."

"Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed "
