The room is huge (with a large, modern bathroom), and the house has a stocked game room with pool, ping pong, foosball, and more plus a giant chessboard outside. Highly recommend ordering sri lankan dinner and breakfast (about 1500 LKR per person) from the house chef which was so delicious. The mangos came from a...

Grand Serendib Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A beautifully maintained hotel in hills of Kandy overlooking the lake and town. Great Srilankan food and the rooms are fantastic. Thank you to all staff. I will return"

Viyana Boutique Hotel

8/10 Good

"Great location with a view of the lake. Near the Relic of the Tooth. Stairs to the room are to be used with caution. Restaurant staff were helpful but kitchen is very slow."

Cassendra Kandy

8/10 Good

"I initially had some issues with this facility, with the room and bathroom cleanliness. However, management rectified it and the remainder of my stay went smoothly. Property is somewhat dated. The replacement room was orderly. Good location, staff were attentive and polite. As far as a hotel rating goes, it is about a 2-2.5 star facility. The breakfast buffet is planned based on guest nationality, when I tried it, it was mainly an Indian breakfast, but I found items I liked to eat! Lack of an elevator has to be disclosed IMO for safety of the guests and disabled guests. Food choices can be limited based on occupancy, primarily for Lunch and Dinner. There are many eateries in the city of Kandy nearby and they are easy to get to."
